Fratelli, quando si manifesterà Cristo, la nostra vita, allora anche voi sarete manifestati con lui nella gloria. Mortificate dunque quella parte di voi che appartiene alla terra: fornicazione, impurità, passioni, desideri cattivi e quella avarizia insaziabile che è idolatria, cose tutte che attirano l’ira di Dio su coloro che disobbediscono. Reading of the Gospel according to St. Luke (Lk. 17, 12-19)
At that time, Jesus entered a village, he was met by ten lepers who, lifted up their voices, saying: "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us." When he saw them, Jesus said, "Go show yourselves to the priests." And as they went, they were cleansed. One of them, realizing he was healed, came back, praising God with a loud voice, and threw himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him. He was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, "Were not ten cleansed? And where are the other nine? No one found to return and give glory to God except this foreigner? ". And he said: "Rise and go, 'your faith has saved you."
